about me

I’m a data scientist, political analyst, and people insights specialist with over a decade of experience delivering data-driven research to help actors understand how people behave and make smarter user centric decisions.

With a background in quantitative political science, I take a strategic mixed methods approach to research combining deep data skills with real-world context to uncover how people think, decide, and engage.

For over a decade I co-led a global comparative research project on public opinion and political behavior—serving on its governing board, contributing to survey design, overseeing data product development, and coordinating with international partners.  I’ve also worked as a consultant to organizations seeking research-grounded strategies, helping teams connect data to decisions in high-impact, real-world contexts. This experience reflects my ability to lead complex, cross-cultural projects and deliver actionable, policy-relevant insights at scale.

I hold a PhD in comparative political science and a postgraduate qualification in higher education and learning from the University of London with training in negotiation and strong proficiency in an array of statistical tools. I’ve taught courses and mentored colleagues across institutions and developed training programs for diverse audiences.

I’m also a strong communicator with a passion for storytelling whether publishing on public opinion, political behavior, social media, or data strategy; delivering policy briefings; or speaking at conferences and stakeholder meetings. My writing and presentations focus on translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights for academic, policy, and applied audiences alike.

My research and insights have featured in academic journals, presentations to policymakers, in the media, and blogs. Whether I’m speaking to policymakers, academics, the public, or clients, I specialize in making complex ideas accessible and actionable.

Outside of geeking out about data, you’ll usually find me keeping up with current affairs, watching far too many crime series on Netflix, following the Dubs in Croke Park, or trying to be a sous chef in my own kitchen!
